Heated performance seats with larger side bolsters, driver's seat memory, power-adjustable bright pedals and steering column with memory, dual climate control, and rear passenger seats are heated. Using the high-resolution touchscreen, the Navi/travel group adds Sirius traffic tools to the long list of capabilities available on the large 8.4-inch touchscreen display. A line of static icons at the bottom makes it easy to call up radio, media, climate, apps, settings, navigation, and phone functions. Response time is good, screen resolution is better than most, and the system supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A Uconnect phone app makes connectivity and diagnostics even simpler with a backup camera. Muscular yet aerodynamic in shape, the charger features a "split crosshair" signature grille, an aluminum hood with sculpted dual "scallops" wide, shallow grooves, muscular front, and rear fenders, flared bodysides with large scallops beginning at the front doors, tight sculpted wheel wells, the LED taillights now use a tube design that appears a single wrap-around tube of red light, LED turn and brake lights are attention getting. The charger will carry four adults comfortably and a child seat in between without effort, and there's a generous trunk to bring everything with you, unlike some sedans the rear seats fold for big-screen television load space. The system operates in rear-wheel drive with the front axle disconnected; when sensors detect wheel slippage, torque is automatically funneled to the front wheels via an active transfer case. Blacked out front and rear lights, tinted windows, painted spoiler, factory painted 20" wheels with matching tires. The Charger has been nipped and tucked around the corners, added to curves in between, and swept rearward ever so slightly for a more lithe, agile look.
